Tan Dash: Kanji Runner for iPhone and Android · effective 5 November 2026

In short: Tan Dash collects no data. No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. Your progress stays on your phone.

Who we are

Tan Dash: Kanji Runner ("Tan Dash") is a kanji game from MichiKanji, operated by The Auspicious Company, a company registered in Massachusetts, United States. Questions about this policy go to ari@michikanji.com.

What we collect

Nothing. Tan Dash has no accounts and no sign-in. It contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software, and it does not send anything about you or your play to us or to anyone else. The game plays offline and makes no network requests while you play.

What stays on your phone

To keep your progress between games, Tan Dash stores these on your device only:

We cannot see this information. It is removed when you delete the app. Your phone's own backups (iCloud, Google, or a computer) may include it, and those services handle it under their own terms.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, Tan Dash asks your phone for permission and then schedules reminders on your phone. These are local notifications: they are created on the device, there is no push service, and no token or identifier leaves your phone. Turn them off at any time in the game's About screen or in your phone's notification settings.

Sharing

The Share button on the results card hands your score text and a link to michikanji.com/play to your phone's share sheet. Nothing is sent unless you choose where to share it. If someone opens that link, the MichiKanji website's own privacy policy applies to the website.

Children

Tan Dash collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If Tan Dash ever starts collecting any data, this policy will say so, with its effective date, before an app update that does so is released.
